Privacy, in plain terms.

Two audiences read this page: people who visit this site or join the waitlist, and people who receive a message from a system we operate for a client. Both sections say exactly what we hold and how to make us stop.

1. If you visit this site or join the waitlist

What we collect: your email address, and nothing else. There are no cookies, no analytics scripts and no tracking pixels on this site. Our host keeps standard server request logs.

Why: to contact you about the first cohort. Lawful basis: consent, given when you submit the form.

Where it goes: our CRM (Attio). It is not sold, shared or used for anything else.

How long: until you ask us to delete it, or twenty four months after our last contact, whichever comes first.

How to stop: reply to any message, or email the address in section three. We delete you and add you to a permanent suppression list so you cannot be contacted again by accident.

2. If a system we operate contacted you

Who is responsible: our client is the data controller for their outreach and we operate the system on their behalf. The message you received names them, and its disclosure line points here.

Where your details came from: public sources only. Company filings at Companies House, public job boards, company websites and professional networking profiles. We do not buy consumer data.

What we hold: your name, role, work email and employer, plus the public signals that caused the system to surface your company (an open role on your careers page, for example), each stored with its source link.

Lawful basis: legitimate interests under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f), documented in a legitimate interests assessment held for each client, alongside the UK PECR corporate subscriber rule. Sole traders, partnerships and companies we cannot verify at Companies House are screened out before any message is drafted.

Human approval: every message is reviewed and approved by a named person before it is sent. Nothing sends automatically, and that block is enforced in our database rather than by policy.

Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Object once and we suppress you permanently, which is stronger than deletion because it also stops you being re-added later from a new data source.

How long: contact details are purged on the retention schedule in each client configuration, typically 120 to 180 days without engagement. Suppression records are kept indefinitely, on purpose, so an opt-out can never be lost.

3. Contact and complaints

Email privacy@takethemeeting.com for any request above. We respond within one month, as required. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
